Retrospective 184 p. with a rising PSA after RT for CaP
Chol PET/CT.
Recurrence site was identified in 87% p, 59% sites histologically confirmed.
Recurrence patterns:
54.3% p pelvic soft tissue only (as a surrogate for potentially salvageable
disease)
33% p extrapelvic recurrence.
Multivariable logistic regression was used to generate a predictive
nomogram for extrapelvic recurrence
(pending to validate)
.
Factors associated with the detection of recurrence:
Difference PSA nadir vs PSA at CholPET
NCCN high-risk classification
Factors predictive of recurrence outside of the pelvis:
difference between PSA nadir and PSA at CholPET
NCCN high-risk classification
time from RT
11% CholPET prior to Phoenix criteria
71% had recurrence on CholPET (73% pelvis)
